What Are The Qualities Of Making Your Article Sell?

The basic requirements are:

Write a quality article that includes an equally good resource box

You're probably familiar with article writing tips. You may even be a good writer already with loads of experience. Here are some basics you need to know about what a resource box is.

What's the purpose of the Resource Box?

The resource contains information about you, the author, and is usually at the end of your article. You want to make this a mandatory part of your article, because it's an important marketing channel.

Here are some important items that you should include in your resource box.

Your name: Put your name as the author of the article, not necessarily your title.

Your website address: Provide a valid URL, for example http://your name.com.

A catchy slogan: This is usually a 2 or 3 sentence brief about you, and whatever it is your attempting to sell. Think of it as being a classified ad, where you tell people about your USP (Unique Selling Proposition), and what separates you (or your product) from the competition.

Your call to action: Since most people don't take action the first time because of laziness or procrastination, you have to use the kind of motivating words and phrases that'll get them off the sofa, and onto your website in short order. This is something you'll have to experiment with. But you can start out by saying something like, "To find out about this product, click here.

Your contact information: Be sure to include a valid e-mail address and/or phone number for interested parties to contact you if they need to. Remember, after your article has been submitted to the various article directories, e-zine publishers and webmasters, it'll be almost impossible to retract anything you've said in the article.

The Do's and Don'ts of Article Writing:

Only post relevant URL's on your website.

Don't let your article writing go on a tangent. Stay focused on the subject or the product. Avoid writing too much about your accomplishments. Nobody really wants to know. Rather focus on the benefits your article can accrue to the reader.

Your resource box must be no more than 1/5 of your article size.

There's no question that boosting your marketing strategy by means of writing articles is something you should seriously consider. It's one of the most effective ways in helping you enhance your image in the affiliate marketing industry. - 14915
