Get Indexed Fast by Google To Make Money With Website Marketing

By Daryl V. Glenn

You're ready to make money with website marketing and you want to get your website indexed by Google as quickly as possible. After all the time you've spent getting everything up and running, the last thing you want to do is sit around and wait for the search engine spiders to crawl your site.

You can find Google's submission form at www.google.com/addurl. It seems like it's really easy and convenient, and it is. You just enter you url and hit the submit button.

It might be easy and convenient, but it won't get your site indexed any time soon. You'll have to wait four weeks, or six week, or eight weeks. Maybe longer. I don't know, because I haven't done it. But I've heard horror stories from friends who were eager to make money with website marketing and instead found themselves typing their domain in Google's search engine for weeks to see if it was indexed yet.

Think about this. Doesn't it make sense that if you submit to Google, you'd have to wait a long time? There must be thousands, hundreds of thousands, of people who are using Goolge's little tool to submit their sites. So you'll have to take your place in line.

Well, you don't have to take your place in line if you don't want to. You can get this whole process moving. You want to make money with website marketing, not sit around waiting forever for Google to spider your site.

One-way links: Goggle likes them alot. They especially like one-way links from the so-called authority sites. The deal is, if you want that Google spider to crawl your site fast, you've got to get another site to link to your site. I know what you're thinking: My site is unranked, new ... why would an authority site want to link to it? Well, relax. Here's how you can do it.

Have you heard of Furl, MyLinkVault, Folk'd? They're social networking sites where people go to be, well, social. People write comments or cast votes, interact, share bookmarks. What are bookmarks? Here's an example: if I think a site is cool, I can share the URL by posting it so that everybody who belongs to the social networking site I've joined can see it. When I post it, I can make the bookmark public.

So you go to one of these sites and you post your own URL. Fill out their new registration or sign-up form, become a member, follow their instructions for "bookmarking" a site, and submit it. That's it. Sometimes your site will be indexed in a matter of days. Sometimes it will actually be indexed in matter of hours. I know it's true, because I've done it for each of my sites.

Google happens to like the social networking sites. Why? Because the content is constantly being updated, added to. The users are always adding sites, night and day. The Google spider loves content and will go to the site frequently. If your URL is posted there, the spider follows your link back to your site. When it does, you get indexed. Now you can start to make money with website marketing.

From highest rating to lowest, here's a list of social networking sites. The list is not all inclusive. There are a ton of them out there, just make sure they're not "nofollow" sites if you decide you'd like to post your URL to them.

- Slashdot - PR9

- Spurl - PR7

- Mister-Wong - PR7

-Jumptag

- MyLinkVault - PR5

- MyVmarks - PR5

Before you submit your site, take the time to read the terms and conditions. You should be aware of the fact that many of the social networking sites do not like blatant self-promotion, and if they think you're spamming them, they'll kill your account.

Once you're indexed, you can get on with your life and start to make money with website marketing. - 14915
